Advanced-Intermediate Level Summary

The Advanced-Intermediate level is divided into four steps (301 to 305), which are taught for one session which are taught for twice or once a week for a total of 3 hours a week over 9 weeks hence totaling 27 hours.

It takes one year and approximately 135 hours of classes to cover the level completely and to finish the study of the textbook Connexions 3.

At the end of 305, you will use complex sentences and understand authentic documents. You will be able to describe experiences and events, dreams, hopes & ambitions and briefly give reasons and explanations for opinions and plans.

After completing the 305 level, students may participate in the Grammaire-Conversation I class. One session is spent on grammar review/practice and the other is strictly conversation. No textbook necessary. Topics are selected by students and teacher. You can register for both grammar AND conversation or for either one, except for Saturday classes.

A phonetics class is also available on Saturdays for students in 104 or higher.
