6 Week Wine Tour de France with Jacqueline Chambliss from The European Wine Table

Tuesdays 6-7:30pm, April 27th - June 1st

The first workshop will feature wines from the Loire Valley... just in time for those going on our trip!

Jacqueline is advanced level Wine and Spirit Education Trust (WSET) educated and trained.   She is also a fine wine writer for several online publications; Suite 101,   Women and Wine, and as the Atlanta Wine Examiner she provides commentary and wine reviews.   Her mission is to educate consumers and the trade about wine regions and the wines that come from them.  Through her consulting company The European Wine Table (www.theeuropeanwinetable.com), she provides wine seminars for businesses, along with wine list consultation and wine buying services for restaurants and retail wine shops.  Through her wine blog (www.theeuropeanwinetable.blogspot.com) she shows that “living the wine life” is about great food and wine, shared with family and friends.   Jacqueline knows that wine begins in the vineyard and all vineyards have a story to tell, through educating and writing she will tell their story, one vineyard and one wine at a time.

Le Tour de France of Wines acquaints you with all of the major areas of French wine production:

Cahors

You will discover several dessert wines, as well as various sparking wines of France.

The course is taught in English by Olivier Savoye.

Olivier Savoye was born in 1963 in Lyon, the capital of French gastronomy. Savoye spent most of his childhood in the heart of Beaujolais. There he started his passion for fine wines, discovering the great wines of Burgundy, the richness and variety of French vineyards, and spending time with winemakers in the Rhone Valley, Bordeaux, Alsace and Loire Valley. His knowledge of French wines and his 20 years experience tasting and researching have made Olivier the "French wines specialist" at Pearsons Wine of Atlanta.
