The Intermediate Level (A2-B1) is divided into five steps (201 to 205), which are taught for twice or once a week for a total of 3 hours a week over 9 weeks hence totaling 27 hours.

At the end of the A2 level, you will be comfortable communicating in French on familiar matters and expressing yourself efficiently if traveling in a French-speaking country.

It takes about a year and approximately 135 hours of classes to cover the complete level and to finish the study of the textbook Connexions 2.

This class prepares students to take the TCF (Test de Connaissance du français), a standard graded test based on a rigorous method that makes it a valid means of assessing language skills. All candidates receive a certificate of results that grades them at 1 of 6 levels (from A1 - C2) on the competency scale defined by the Council of Europe. This means that it is not possible to fail the TCF!

This class prepares students to take the test DELF (Diplôme d'Etudes en Langue Française), which is an official diploma awarded by the French Ministry of Education to certify the French competency of candidates from outside France. A2 level recognizes the linguistic competency of a basic user, considered as a social actor. The candidate can communicate in simple and routine tasks requiring the most common polite phrases and exchanges of information.
